Federal Criminal Defense

Thank you for taking the time to read more about my Practice and my work as a Defense Attorney in the District Courts of Western District of New York.  I handle cases related to Conspiracy charges involving allegations of Narcotic Trafficking, Firearm Possession, Wire Fraud, Mail Fraud and Money Laundering.  I do not accept human trafficking or child pornography cases.

I will gladly take a few moments to speak with you if you or a loved one has been charged with a Federal Crime, at no cost.  Please call me at (716)941-4336 or email me.

Unique Perspective

As an Assistant United States Attorney, I worked with agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), Internal Revenue Services (IRS), Secret Service, and the Department of Homeland Security.  That experience has been invaluable to me as a defense attorney.

As a result of this experience and work, I have obtained some remarkable results of which I am truly proud.   Agents and Prosecutors make mistakes, and if those mistakes result in the violation of my client’s fundamental rights, I fight to make certain that my client does not suffer the consequences.

Federal Criminal Defense is nuanced and complex and I believe it is important to choose an Attorney that understands those complexities and can confidently navigate the system.  If you or a loved one has been charged in the Western District of New York with a Federal Crime, please feel free to contact me to discuss your options.  I am happy to take a few minutes with you to make sure you understand the process.

If you are looking to retain a lawyer for a matter in Federal Court, you should keep in mind that due to the complexity of the Federal Court System and Court rules that make it almost impossible to step down as your attorney for non-payment, most quality attorneys will require a substantial retainer or advanced flat fee before accepting your case.  If you are unable to retain an attorney, you may be eligible for assistance from the Court and the Criminal Justice Act program administrated by the Federal Public Defender.

In most matters we require a payment or retainer of $15,000 before accepting a new client, however every case and situation is different.

I am a proud member of the Federal Bar in the Western District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.  First admitted as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in 2008, I have successfully helped many clients charged with Federal crimes in Rochester and Buffalo, New York.
