West Seneca is an inner ring suburb of Buffalo, New York that is generally considered part of Buffalo’s “southtowns”. It is considered a safe and prosperous community with a diverse tax base and above average schools. The median resident age is slightly higher than the State Average. Median income was estimated at $53,231.
West Seneca Justice Court is responsible for the adjudication of misdemeanors, violations and infractions that occur in the Town of West Seneca. It is one of the busier Courts in Erie County, due in part to the multiple highways that run through its borders:Route 219, State Route 400 and the New York State Thruway (I-90) .

A substantial retail corridor may contribute to court volume as well. The 2010 census estimates population at 44,711. The Town’s main roads also host a number of small businesses and light industry, including Auricchio Insurance and Auricchio Law Offices of Western New York.
The Town of West Seneca borders the City of Buffalo to the West, Cheektowaga to the North, Orchard Park to the South and Elma to the East.
West Seneca is highly regarded by the surrounding community for its youth and recreation programs, including an incredible soccer and hockey complex. It’s Police Department is actively engaged with a number of community organizations, including Crimestoppers and the Mutual Assistance Group for Erie County. Detectives from the Department have served with the Drug Enforcement Agency on a task force of federal and local law enforcement.

Where to eat before or after Court: There are a lot of great family owned joints in West Seneca. Schwabl’s is famouse for their Beef on Weck, which it has served since 1942. Connor‘s is a classic South Buffalo Tavern and eatery. It too serves beef on weck and fish fry fridays are popular there as well.
West Seneca Town Court or Justice Court is well staffed with two experienced judges and a number of well regarded Court Clerks. It is generally considered by local attorneys as a relatively friendly Court that is both efficient and accommodating.
In 2013 the Town renovated the entrance and lobby area of the Court and continues work on an expansion of the Court Clerk’s offices and portions of the Police Department.
